It’s been an exciting few months for HipPocket. We released HipPocket for Brokerages, our private in-brokerage communication service, and HipPocket for Realtor Associations our complete communication solution for Realtor Associations. During this time though we have continued to focus on growing adoption in key markets. I am excited to announce that we have reached a significant milestone. We have grown 150% in Dallas Fort Worth in the last 6-months. 1600 real estate agents representing over 300 brokerage brands are actively sharing Coming Soon’s and Buyer Needs from across the Metroplex.
The MLS while critical and important is not built to be a real-time communications platform for real estate agents. HipPocket has become the missing link that connects Dallas Fort Worth agents in real-time with their local agent community. As top performing agent Evan C. Stewart from Ebby Halliday explained recently during an interview:

The Top-20 brokerage brands represented in HipPocket in Dallas Fort Worth include some of the biggest brands in the business. Around 70% of all Coming Soon’s and Buyer Needs are posted by this group. Several of these brokerages are seeing additional value through subscribing to our HipPocket for Brokerages service.
- Their agents now connect as a private community 24/7 versus only at office meetings.
- Everyone can share messages in addition to listings and needs privately in-house with their teammates before releasing them to the open HipPocket community.
- They have a dedicated real estate marketing and communication channel for the brokerage that is outside of email.
- They have a vehicle that is helping increase in-house closes and therefore brokerage revenues, more than covering the $1/agent/month subscription fee paid by the brokerage.

We are committed to continuing to develop HipPocket to become one of the most important tools in the hands of today’s real estate agents. Development though takes time and money. We are pleased to have seen some early adopters subscribe to our HipPocket for Brokerages service and are excited to have a growing pipeline. All new subscription revenue is being reinvested into the product. Plus new funds we raise from angel and seed investors will help us accelerate development.
